Little Medinah was born from a deeply personal moment, one that quietly changed everything.

When I first became a mother, I never imagined how intense the sleepless nights could be. One evening, exhausted and unsure of what else to try, my husband took our daughter into his arms and softly hummed a melody he had known since childhood, Tala‘a al-Badru ‘Alayna.

Almost instantly, she calmed.
Her tiny body relaxed.
And for the first time, she drifted into a deep, peaceful sleep.

That moment stayed with me. The way a single melody could bring such calm, safety, and connection felt deeply meaningful.

For many, this melody carries a rich history and deeper meaning.
But for us, it began with a simple moment, where everything became still.

I wished every parent could experience that same feeling.

At the time, there was nothing that captured this. Nothing that combined warmth, familiarity, and comfort with a refined and meaningful design.
